Bill lives in lower Manhattan and does custom portraits of children, pets and families. Most of his clients live or work in Battery Park City. Many people have met Bill and Lucy during their walks through The Hudson River Park.

During the course of his career, he has done portraits in both Paris and New York. He has also captured images of fashion designers, golf courses, and places. Bill is particularly well known for his huge panoramic images. The panoramas he has shown are up to 30 feet in length, although he has also shown single 8 by 10 inch images.

Bill has had both one-artist and group exhibitions in New York, Chicago, Houston, Palm Beach, Hamburg, Milan, and Paris. He has also written several books and articles on photography.

His work is in the permanent collections of various museums in New York and Paris. These include the Jewish Museum, Credit Suisse - First Boston Corporation, Chemical Bank, and International Center for Photography, Mussee d’Arte Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Musee Carnavalet, and the Bibliotheheque Nationale. In addition, his images of golf courses are displayed at various courses, including St. Andrews, Pebble Beach, Shinnecock Hills, and others.
