  "Some photographers have such a distinctive eye that their work is both uniform and almost immediately recognizable, such as my new friend Guy's work is. For some people those qualities would be drawbacks, leading to work that is boring and uninspired; for Guy it proves to be just the opposite, instead anchoring a delightful (and sometimes even impish) creativity to a foundation of solid technique. And then, there are his words...I'm prodding him constantly to write! (Can you imagine what a novel written by Guy would read like??) I guess one of the highest compliments I can pay his work is that it consistently challenges me to think about various subjects in a deeper way, and it always makes me feel good when I see his work: energized, more positive, and somehow relaxed...if Guy is shooting then all is still right with the world.
