Middle-aged church musician - there, I've said it!

I've only got into photography with any seriousness in the last three years or so. It started with me buying a Fuji compact (film), but really took off when I was given an ancient but serviceable Praktica ML50 (film again). This has meant a lot of trial-and-error as it has no automatic features - it's all metering-off-your-hand and that kind of thing - but I have been fortunate in managing to take enough good pics to give me hope! I've since got a (not very good) scanner and am now able to show the world exactly what I'm capable of...
