I am a lover of crafts to my very core. I am skilled at: sewing, knitting, crochet, quilting, cross-stitch, scrapbooking, card making, cake decorating and cooking. The only areas of the craft store I don't frequent are: fine art, floral and jewelry.

For now, my sewing space is also my home office/studio. From there, I run a stationery business, work as a marketing consultant and churn out as many quilty things as I possibly can.

My design preference is modern interpretation of vintage pattern design. I love cathedral windows, grandmothers garden and dresden plates. I am also drawn to basic geometric patterns and shapes. I love using white in my quilts whenever possible. If I had to describe my style, it would be simple, clean and modern.

I'm a matchy-matchy kind of person. I don't like to mix fabrics from different collections, so I'm not a big fan of scrappy quilts. I believe rules are essential to many areas of life, but quilting/crafting isn't one of them. I don't do hand-work because it is too slow and not fun. If you want binding attached by hand, I'm not your girl. My least favorite part of quilting is the piecing, so I don't have UFO's. My favorite part of quilting is admiring my work when it's complete. Next to that, quilting and binding are my favorite parts of the process.

My husband and I are child-free by choice. We love kids and think they are lots of fun, but we just don't want our own. We are content to spoil our nieces and nephew and not deal with the day to day responsibilities of having children. Our little family does include two precious dogs.
