The Honolulu Orchid Society (HOS) was the first orchid society founded in Hawaii in 1939. It is a non-profit and non-political scientific and horticultural organization, to promote, carry on, and aid in every possible way, the culture of orchids of all kinds. HOS meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:30 P.M. in the Cafetorium of Lanakila Elementary School located at 717 North Kuakini Street in Honolulu.
