"Few people liked her face: the face was too cold, the eyes too intense; nothing could ever lend her the charm of a soft focus."

Beautiful Things Are Coming... says:
"thank you for the cameras, Kim. I used to want a polaroid camera until they stopped making the film. I was lucky enough that you gave me two and gave me some film to start with. Lately I have been not really into photography...I hate it. I just don't want to do it anymore...I felt down about my pictures, like I couldn't take anything good and like it wasn't even worth buying a new camera (since mine is broken.) But thank you, Kim, because you've given my love for photography a new life... I am absolutely obsessed with these cameras and I'm almost already done with the 10 shots of the 600 that i've been trying to use sparingly...I went a little crazy today. I like the camera that takes the fuji better but it's harder to use so I haven't been as addicted to it. Now I can't wait to get my 40d and see what I can take with it...and I love this nice little pile of PHOTOGRAPHS I have on my desk now...instead of a folder on my pc. It's lovely and amazing. I owe you.
Thank you."25th April, 2009

buradori says:
"kim is inspiring.
she consistently produces beautiful photographs. whether instant or not, i am always intrigued by her work.
as if producing beautiful photographs wasn't enough...she decided to generously give up about one thousand polaroids to create what we affectionately refer to as the "polaroid house", or "polaroid mecca". it truly is a wonderful art installation, and i hope it will continue and evolve for years to come...
thank you for sharing your craziness, and creativity with us! :)"6th July, 2008
