I am a perpetual student of photography lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful and expansive places on earth, interior Alaska. I began my training at the age of 16 in High School using the Yashica Electro 35 GSN 35mm film rangefinder camera. I intend to keep photographing people, places and things of interest for the rest of my life. Feel free to share in my journey by browsing through the photostream. The name V-System was inspired by the camera I was learning when I started my Flickr account, the venerable Hasselblad 500c/m medium format film camera. I have since acquired my first dSLR, the Sony a700 which is in need of some EXPENSIVE repairs after a fall to hard-pack snow last winter. I am also slowly building a supply-base to develop 35mm film at home putting to good use my Minolta SR-T 102 mechanical film camera.
