Namaste,
I am Nishant, a visual designer by profession. Did my engineering in Computer Science but soon realized that I was meant for something else. Enrolled myself into Masters in Design (Visual Communication) at IDC, IIT Bombay. Picked up photography as part of the course at IDC. Did shoot with black & white film then, it was great fun developing the films and printing in darkroom. Those red bulbs the smell of fixer, the sound of drier, the long queue to get your hour in the dark room.. It all still makes me feel nostalgic. Started with digital in 2008 October and have kept looking back since then (pun intended :D). Presently exploring photography and use of light. I enjoy doing portraits and looking to take that forward . I am presently based in Bangalore and open for freelance assignments.
