Balthazira's photostream

Hello! My name is Balthazira. I'm 19 and I'm from Mason, Michigan - The United States (Planet Earth, Milky way Galaxy and all that jazz). I'm a new, learning photographer and I'm still trying to find my style. Comments and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated. There's a lot of variety to my photostream because I have a rather eclectic taste when it comes to photographs.

I'm currently using a Nikon P50 point and shoot, but I wouldn't trade it. :) I still love film cameras, but I don't really seem to have the knack for it.

Oh, are you interested in the things I do beside photography? Very well. I love to read. I'll read just about everything aside from romance and westerns. I plan to write a novel someday. I'm currently a college student (and a McDonalds uh.... worker), but I don't really know what I want to do so I'm working on a general associates degree.

I joined the Navy when I was a junior in high school and shipped out last September. I spent 5 months in a 2 month long boot camp due to 5 stress fractures in my legs and feet and a complete break in my pelvis. I was eventually medically discharged, but my love for the Navy and all things nautical remains.

I have two pet rats and a tarantula - not your typical pets, but I love them dearly. In case you're wondering, my rats' names are Burger and Houdini and the tarantula's name is Mozart.

Also, and you've probably figured this out already, but I'm a complete nerd. I went to school for "programming, databases and website development" and am therefore a huge nerd when it comes to computers and electronics. I love computer games and I'd no sooner give up my Nintendo DS than my left pinky finger. ;)
