*Im not the greatest at introductions, But I guess i will try.*
Hi there, My name is Estrella :) Im Canadian, Irish, British and Portuguese. I've lived in canada all my life, and i think it's a great place ruled by a complete idiot. :P I have been told i have a swearing problem, and i have also been told i have anger issues. Don't let this fool you though, I can be nice too. (that i have been told many a time.) Im 14 at the moment and my birthday is april 24th.(sometimes I act older than i appear, and when I'm having a lot of fun, I can act like a child.) Im lazy at times, but Im known for getting my work done when needed. I keep to myself sometimes, but I also can be loud and put myself out there when i want. Actually, when i think about it, I really like to put myself out there. I act like a fool on the subway, I don things other don't usually want to do, and I speak my mind when its appropriate. I enjoy laughing. perhaps a tad too much to be honest. :P I joke around a lot, and always try to make my friends laugh and cheer them up when they're down. That's two of my few favourite things, Friends (true friends i mean. I have been betrayed before, and worse,. I can tell if someone is my actually friend or not.) and Laughter. (i do ave a rather long list of things i do hate, but won't share.)
other things i love are photography and music. I won't go into detail on the first one because this is after all a photography site. but music i will. I used to play the biggest set of chimes in a choir at one of my older schools, and i played violin for a while too. unfortunately i have quite both. chimes because my later schools didn't offer them, and violin because my teacher was awful, and i hated him so much. (i have many reasons why i should. mainly his attitude, if i told you what he did to my when i broke my foot, you'd hate him too.) I have played a bit of guitar in middle school (as part of the arts lesson.) But my dream instrument to play is drums. (a drum kit to be exact.) but it seems like that dream won't happen for a long time. :(
I enjoy listening to must too. I like rock, and alternative. my absolute favourite band is by far Marianas Trench. <3
oddly enough, If i like a band to begin with, then later on find out said band is canadian, i suddenly become much more of a fan. ;) examples: Marianas Trench, Hedley, T.K.W.C and simple plan.
I also loveto RPG with my very good friends :) i know some people enjoy this too. It truly is fun. :)
Im currently at an Arts school. I'm there for drama and art mostly. (and now i have dance too, read on to now more about that though.) I got in there because of my photography actually. some of the things in my portfolio are on here too, but some aren't. I don't post everything i take like most people. :P I have to say though, the school I'm at lives up to it's name. everyone says it's "the right fit" and it truly is. I have been to three schools so far. (elementary, middle, and now high school) and form what i've experienced, I'm finally at a school that is perfect. everyone is nice, and not judgemental. (I've been a victim of bullying, so it's nice to be finally free of that. in fact i'll share a Tad about it. I was called mocked constantly and called lesbian so often by the same boy, that he fooled everyone into believing it. only those who talked to me actually knew the truth. Im not one to "gawk" over guys, but that doesn't mean i don't like guys. anyway it's just nice to be free of all that bs.) The school itself is awesome too, it's relaxed and the teachers are for the most part pretty cool. :) (my favourite classes are drama, dance, visual art, english and surprisingly geography.)
Another thing about me is i'm not afraid to block people. (in fact I'm not afraid of many things. I don't scare easy.) and if i so happen to, i DO have my reasons.
One thing that has recently became a huge part of my life Is dance. I've been dancing since i was 2. so far, I've been doing ballet (classical and lyrical) for 12 years, Tap and jazz for 9 years, and most recently, i have joined a modern class. I used to take it all on my saturdays, but because I was actually placed in a dance class at my high school, I now take it threw out the week. I also volunteer for my ballet teachers early on saturday mornings to help the littler girls. In total I spend about 7 hours and 15 minutes - 8 hours and 15 minutes dancing per week. (it really all depends on what my school schedule looks like... is there more day 1s then 2s.) Because of all my years dancing, I have become very flexible. as a matter of fact i can kick straight above my head, put my leg behind my head, fall into the splits (on my right side. my left side is more tense and isn't dominate.) I also am double jointed in my legs, so i can do the lotus and stand up and walk. I freak my friends out with these little tricks i can do, and you know what? I love it.
I am also dabbled in martial arts for a while. I started taking Karate lessons by force from my parents at age 7. I don't consider myself a pro, but through out the years i have acquired serval metals in the yearly tournaments. (i think i have about 26 or so. and one trophy.) I recently have slowly fallen out of these classes though for several reasons. (the teachers becoming exceedingly harsh, my parents having issues with health, more dance, and just too much BS.)
I hope you don't assume me "girly" because of all the dance. In fact, I have been known for playing sports. (i inherited that gene from my dad.) i enjoy playing Basketball a lot. I have been told I'm actually quiet good at it. (because of my height i think... Im about 5.10 :( i want to be shorter though.) I also like volleyball, soccer and hockey. (in fact, when i get mad and I'm playing hockey, someone once told me I'm better then most of the guys i verse.)
