My photography is in the past, with the dinosaurs, in the days of silver and Kodachrome, when I did my own Cibachrome..........now sadly defunct. I suppose I could upload pics of grand kids taken with my wife's point and shoot but the African animals etc. will have to wait for digitalization of the old slides. I have traveled widely in years past as I spent 3 and 1//2 years in East Africa as physician volunteer in the late 1970s and my oldest son was born in Nairobi Kenya. And I love really good photography, both black and white and color, both realistic and abstract, and especially natural history in macro. Having just discovered flickr 2 weeks ago, I now use the slideshow mode on the computer every chance I get.
I am visiting places and seeing creatures I haven't seen in many years, and meeting their cousins and neighbors....priceless!

March 5..........Well my first upload, a smattering of stuff with more to come. All my currant digital is from my wife's 9 year old point and shoot compact Casio 2 MP., and I do not have PhotoShop yet. My old Nikon Nikkormats and Olympus OM1 and OM2 remain packed away, and the thousands of slides I shot decades ago when in an art mode, will require scanning, something I do not have time for now. So I am reduced to uploading what are basically snapshots. Thanks for your kindness and patience. The perusing of thousands of pictures on Flickr has stirred the juices, and I remain in awe at the multitude of quality photos in which I have been immersed. I well know the cost in money and in time and effort required by many of you who dive and travel to exotic (also known as very expensive) places, with very expensive and frequently heavy equipment, to capture a unique butterfly, frog, sea horse, sunrise, dune, or portrait. The B&W collections are frequently breathtaking, and over all this flickr collection provides a sustained high not found in chemicals or drugs. After the trouble I had simply uploading from iphoto, I am extremely impressed at those of you who have uploaded thousands of images. I am exhausted just thinking about it, but THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK, Ed
