I enjoy exploring places on foot with the camera at the ready. Whilst hopefully taking some care with composition, my objective is simply to record what is seen as I pass by, rather than getting deeply involved with technique or processing. On my walks I seek to take away nothing except pictures and leave nothing apart from footprints.

At the moment I am very happy with a compact point and shoot camera. A little straightening, usually small adjustments to lighting, and cropping are the only procedures used. May '11, updated to TZ8 - looking good....

My Christian faith is central to me, and I seek to celebrate the hand of the Creator in the scenes all around. The even greater wonder is that the Creator entered creation, lived a perfect life from the cradle to the cross, died and rose again - all for the salvation of sinners like me.

I do just want to mention how much I appreciate having the chance to select favourites / favorites from other contributors (see in blue above to browse). I look at many of them often and they reward repeated viewing. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this amazing visual and educational feast.
