I had an old Olympus OM10 for my 17th Birthday, which was a beautiful bit of kit, (It had a manual adapter, a flash gun, 1 x 200mm lens plus 1 x prime lens) but I couldn't afford the film and developing costs, so I reluctantly sold it to help fund my education.
After interim years of wrestling with a compact camera trying to compose shots, I was finally able to save up and treat myself to a DSLR last Summer. What a joy it is. :)
I am most inspired by photography from the mid 20th Century: most notably Eric de Mare, Fay Godwin and Ansel Adams. I love industrial, landscapes, night photography, and shooting in black and white.
