Photography is not new to me, as I enjoyed taking photographs on family gatherings and social events where I used to work. Since I took an early retirement, photography became my hobby after getting my first digital camera from my daughter and son on my 60th birthday. I am a lover of Nature but mostly take photographs of flowers but lately I have been taking photographs of anything that attracts me. I find it challenging to improve my skills. I now own a Cannon Power Shot SX30 IS, just a bigger version of what I used to have, with much improved lens. My dream is to own something much better (maybe a Nikon D??) but that will only happen if my husband will win the lottery! :))

As an amateur photographer, I welcome any constructive criticism as it will help me learn. Flickr is a great place not only to learn and share your photographs but also an inspiration for the amazing photos from other Flickr members all over the world!
