I am a photographer and writer from the Memphis, Tennessee area. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Certificates in Photography and Writing.

Here is what I use in my photography :

>> Digital: I use an Olympus EPL-1 with a Lumix 20mm Prime Lens, a Kodak DC280 2.0 megapixel, and an LG VX-9900 2.0 megapixel cameraphone.

>> Film: I use a Nikon N80 35mm, and sometimes an Agfa-Box medium-format. For film stock, I use Fujichrome Velvia for color and Kodak T-Max for black and white. I have also shot with Kodak Kodachrome.

>> Lighting: My lighting equipment includes: a LumoPro LP160 speedlight, two Cactus wireless transceivers and two Smith-Victor light stands. I also have a Smith-Victor tungsten continuous lighting kit for video.

In photography, I still enjoy shooting with film, even though I primarily use digital cameras. My film lab is Memphis Professional Imaging. I have a Nikon Coolscan film scanner to convert my film to digital.

My main interest in filmmaking is cinematography. Favorite cinematographers include Vittorio Storaro, Gordon Willis and James Wong Howe. I have personally shot with HDV high-definition, Prosumer MiniDV and Super 8mm.

I have taken Cinematography Courses at Maine Media Workshops. Courses included Film Cinematography and Camera Assistant. There, I shot with 16mm film cameras and worked with 35 mm cameras, including Panavision and Arriflex.
