    Miles Away Photography says:

"I first met Steve through an OCC field trip to Oxtongue River, Algonquin Park.
I was new to the club, and Steve offered to carpool the group and that was the beggining...................I learned so much in one day, the questions never stopped. Steve was very patient with me, explaining so many things for me to understand. The memory of that day will keep me warm for a long time to come I am sure.

Steve is also the evil fiend who intoduced me to Flickr. lol! His was the first profile and photostream I explored in this wonderful photo world, and I have not found many others that captivate me as much.

Steve: Thank-you for all of your help, patience and guidance. I hope that I have learned from it all and that it is reflected in my own work. You're the best!"

"Steve was one of the first people to comment on my images over a year ago and we've followed each other's photo streams ever since. This kid has got skilz, his images are a pleasure to peruse and his inteligence and sense of humor are just icing on the cake. Steve gets around and he always has a camera with him, for which I am grateful because many of my "favorites" are Steve's. He truely is one of my best Flickr Friends."

"Steve...ha!...didn't even know that was his name. To me he will always be PTD. Regardless of what I call him...I know that I enjoy his view of the world through his photography and I am humbled by the attention he shows my photos. He is supportive, kind and funny...and I appreciate the way he really seems to look at each photo and comments appropriately.

His own submissions to the Flickr family are well thought-out and always wonderful.

I am genuinely pleased to have him on my list of "friends.""
