I'm 62 years old and semi-retired. In real life I was a college professor and then a realtor. Music and travel (mostly domestic) are my interests. I am relatively new to photography but I'm having a great time searching for that perfect shot (of landscapes, nature, old signage, abandonment and anything else that strikes me). I hope to map all my photos, so if you see one without a location, please let me know.

    Ape Flavored says:

"Traveling the highways of this great nation, a dedicated group of photographers have set out to find that quintessential American shot. Thankfully, Flickr has given them a forum to get together and share their photos and stories, and to forge long lasting friendships. And through this rag tag bunch, I was fortunate to meet Jim, who burst onto the scene armed with a massive portfolio, some friendly words and a real enthusiasm for photography. His enthusiasm has served him well as it has taken him around the country to interesting locales where he has amassed quite a collection of fantastic photographs. So many in fact, that it's often hard to keep up with him. I always look forward to the task, as with the quantity comes great quality."

"Just wanted to share that even though Jim is new to Flickr, he really has a great eye for the unusual.

He is wonderful at capturing the offbeat and making the mundane very interesting.

Check out his stream, you won't be disappointed
