I've been away from flickr for a long time and am happy to be finding new inspiration here again, thank you.

"Angie is one of the first people on flickr to make me laugh! Her images are filled with happiness which radiates from inside....
She dances in high heels, takes triple exposures of her kids, loves bokeh more than most should, and makes the funniest comments evah!
I love her photos and I want to hang out with her!!"4th July, 2008

JC Auto says:
"Angie, besides being a close friend for many years, was my inspiration for making that leap from point and shoot to SLR photography. I’d upgraded p&s cameras 3 times in an attempt to get to that next level, but the results were still those to be expected – the occasional lucky image flanked by multitudes of snapshots. I became enamored by her photography quickly and was amazed at her ability to capture the personality of her subjects. In a sentence, that is her greatest gift as a photographer. Her color, composition, focus and depth are amazing, but her special talent for bringing life and character into a photograph is unique, and one I don’t believe can be learned easily (if it can be “learned” at all).
As you browse her photostream you quickly come to feel like you know her boys, what they’re thinking, what their voices sound like and what they’re about to do next. You feel like Ruby is looking at you with her “time to feed me!” eyes - you can feel her wet nose on your arm and smell her puppy breath. You can tell when it was cold, muggy, cloudy or crisp without a sliver of the sky or ground in the frame. It’s an intense experience, and quite the opposite of a snapshot. But there’s still a casualness and natural feel to her photos. She captures life in photographs and it comes across as if the process was effortless – even though I’m quite sure it’s not.
After months of talking myself into it, I was ready to take that step. I pestered Angie forever about which camera to get and why. How does she get that quality? What about this model? Is this lens worth a crap? With nothing but patience and modesty she shared what she knew and helped me make sense of the overwhelming options out there. I’m about a month into it now and the barrage of questions about equipment have turned to requests for advice on shooting – color, focus, technique - while I struggle to learn about all the things that scared me before I made the leap. Her advice transcends into support and encouragement which means a lot to me as I struggle to learn and grow as a very novice photographer.
Besides being a great mom, wife, pet owner, Midwestern-girl, singer, graphic artist, drinker, music lover, poet, driver (no…scratch that one), photographer and mentor, she’s a great friend and I count myself lucky to know her."1st July, 2008

"Simply put, Angie is marvelous. Not only is she a talented photographer, but she's also a genuinely nice and kind human being. She's also a hottie, but that's neither here nor there for the purposes of this testimonial. Angie made me feel welcome when I first dipped my toe into the social side of flickr, and for that I will be eternally grateful. I feel very lucky to count her as one of my flickr buds, and I hope that one day ours paths will cross IRL and we'll get to have a drink together."

"I'm just so damn excited that Angie is my flickr friend because I stalked her for months before she would add me as a contact. Don't judge her for that -- when you're the Goddess of Flickr you have to be careful who gets to the inner circle, ya know? Not only do I bow down to her AMAZING talents in photography and with a super old version of PSE, I just generally want to be her. She's gorgeous, kind, smart, witty as hell, skinny, and has a huge stash of vodka at her house. So get in line, people, I've got dibs on her visiting me first! She's the coolest Canon chick evah!"

"Angie has such a great eye (actually I reckon she has two), such a talented flickrer. I've never met her but any hoop,,, what I know is that she captures wonderful candid portraits, turns everyday stuff into great images, she has the shiniest dog I've ever seen, she's tres genereaux avec les comments, hilarious avec les tags and she allegedly swears like a sailor when it's necessary :-)
Oh and she totally looks like a rocksta :-)"4th February, 2008

"Okay...so i don't actually KNOW her, nevertheless, she is a great flickr friend. She is a humble photographer always noting that she is still learning - and learning quite well, i will add. She is responsive to her comments and appreciates them.
Her new photos are the ones i always go to first. Being that super mom-o-rama that she is, angie incorporates her family into each shot, one way or another. She truly captures the dynamics of little boys and their escapades and her patience and willingness to seek to learn more and more about this world of pictures.
Keep up the great work!"17th January, 2008

St. See says:
"Angie has something in her eye.
This thing in her eye changes shape, like a clay cup beneath her fingers. Sometimes it is child-shaped, sometimes goofy-dog-shaped. Always this thing is molded by her love of and for the things she sees, for her family, her dogs, her surroundings. This I know from her photos. I am always happy to see when she has posted a new set of pictures. Her processing and treatments and perspective are first-rate. Ah, but that thing in her eye, that gentle depression where she holds the things she loves, that is where the magic happens, where her flowers grow and where her kids laugh. Her photostream awaits. Go now, reader, gather her rosebuds while ye may."14th January, 2008
