What do the numbers means in front of the images?

These refer to how the photographers rate their ability in competition.

Level 1 – Novice - limited experience.
Level 2 –Intermediate - work is of a consistently high standard.
Level 3 –Advanced - work demonstrates a mastery of technical and artistic aspects.
