1. I live in an old and mysterious town called Penzance. The end of the line, and the end of many formalities: where many things end and a few things begin.
2. Photography is not my job. I work on a supermarket checkout.
3. I'm not an amateur photographer. Amateurs are aspiring to be professionals, and professionals have to get paid to do what other people want them to do. I already do this at work.
4. I take photographs the way I take photographs. I like the way I do it, and I do what I like. Nobody influences it, and I'm not trying to influence anyone else.
5. Art's personal. You don't have to get it. I don't care.
6. I am hugely thankful to my boyfriend who bought me my camera when we were in Amsterdam. I was moody and couldn't be fucked to look at second hand cameras. Glad he made me.
