I have always enjoyed taking unusual photographs of the world and everything in it, but I had rather neglected this interest of late due to family commitments etc. I had always used a manual camera (Nikon) belonging to my husband, which I really liked. However, when we had 45 rolls of film waiting to be developed, I thought I had better cool off a bit!
But now we have recently acquired both a digital camera and a rescue dog! In taking the Westie out for his many walks, I spotted many subjects simply waiting to be photographed, and all in my little corner of the world, too!
So I grabbed the camera, and hey presto! I then nervously signed on to FlickR, and the rest, as they say, is history!
I am interested in photographing Church architecture, old walls animals, old buildings, clouds, lichens, trees, and my lovely daughter, and anything else that grabs my attention and glorifies God, as I am a committed Christian.
I think Flickr is a great idea, and 2007 sets out to be very inspiring for me. I have enjoyed looking at other peoples world view. Thank you all for your wonderful photographs!
