I am so sorry I've not been around for some time now... I have some serious health issues that must take precedence over Flickr.

Not much to say really besides I live in Eastern TN and am happily married to the man of my dreams ~♥Eyes To See♥
I thank God everyday for blessing me with him as well as my wonderful family! :)
I really enjoy taking photos of things I love like animals, nature, and beautiful old and abandoned places or things. I've been taking pictures for a while but have recently taken an interest in trying to actually become a bit more decent at it. ;) I'm still learning all the time. :)
I rarely use any kind of "treatment" on my shots. I try to capture what I see as best I can, I enjoy the challenge. So mostly with my shots what I see is what you get. ;)
I've really been having fun on Flickr and have met some truly wonderful people along the way! :D

*A note about contacts*
(I have gone private because of security issues on Flickr)
I do not "collect" contacts and really don't like to be "collected" as a contact myself by people who have no intention of ever communicating with me. Some of you may not even be aware yet that people do this but unfortunately many people do. I don't understand why someone wants to have a ton of contacts that they'll never communicate with only to say they have that many?
Contacts for me are friends, not just a number on my profile.
The only reason I'm staying on Flickr at ALL is because of my good friends. If not for them I would have left long ago. I really don't have time nor desire to play the Flickr "popularity game."
I don't keep people as contacts if it's very obvious they don't want to be an actual friend to me now that I've gone private.
If you have me as a contact and I haven't added you back please don't take offense. If you are sincerely wanting to be a contact then I'll see that and most likely I'll add you back. :) I know people get busy and have lives outside of Flickr so it's not that I expect you to comment on every single photo I have or anything like that. I can certainly tell the difference in "collectors" and in people who add me because they saw something they liked in my stream.
Just because I don't have you listed as a contact certainly doesn't mean that I think you're a "collector" or that I don't like you or your photos.
If I did not have you as a contact before going private it is very possible that it is just a mistake, maybe I meant to add you and forgot. I don't just automatically add people back as contacts immediately after they have added me so that's why I say it's possible I just forgot. I like to wait to add someone back to see if they are the "collecting" type first. If you genuinely like my work and want me to add you as a contact please feel free to send me a Flickr Mail so I will know to do this. :)
I went private for many reasons but I certainly have nothing personal against you. :) I did not WANT to go private with my account but after so many issues kept coming up I felt if I was going to keep my Flickr account that was my only option. :\
