Concerning My Self Portraits
I first became serious about doing self portraits as a tool for better understanding who I am NOW. Self portraits also let me indulge my sense of drama in the context of street photography, as I utilize settings and props found in the street (rather than in a studio) both to stimulate my thinking and to create the compositions.
