  "Diana is one of the most remarkable and yet self-effacing people I have ever had the pleasure to have known. She is also one of the most personally honest individuals I have ever met and one of the most open. Her bio leaves out the really bad personal shit she has coped with on her own and largely overcome by her inner strength of will and this is someone you cannot help love or admire her for even though she is inside and out a naturally beautiful individual. To take really great shots , I think you need to be a one off, have an open heart mind and soul and follow your own instincts and feelings and not try to copy anyone else or be heavily influenced by them. This girl has faith in her owns eyes and a unique vision. Saygoodbye is a neat name and has all sorts of meanings for her and me. If you knew you might die tomorrow, then you would probably do things differnetly, say the things you might regret not saying to people and so on. It is also a favourite lyric of mine, a gay anthem in the hands of Marc, Soft Cell, a guy who nearly died in an horrendous motobike crash and yet got showered with a wave of love and support as he lay therein intensive care. "Say Hello, Say goodbye" is a wonderful song of self understanding, self acknowledgement and defiance in the face of the shit life can throw at you. (I sang it myself many times , in private and in public , from the bottom of my soul, in the grey hours when my wife was unfaithful and I thought my life was down the toilet.) Sharing and singing was a way of keeping afloat and to you Diana, an inspiration in your honest words and pictures to so many friends over at Fotolog, Say hello not Goodbye."
