I would describe myself as an advanced amatuer photographer. Photography is a hobby for me. I am pretty much self taught, but have decent equipment. I have many 12 X 8 and 11 X 14 inch prints and have made good looking digital prints up to 20 X 30 inches.

I enjoy taking pictures of people more than any other type of photography. People just interest me.

I guess I am kind of a crazy caucasian fascinated with the Chinese culture. You will find an array of pictures from China here, taken from a westerners point of view.

I have traveled to China multiple times and have stayed in the following cities; Hong Kong, Shen Zhen, Liu Zhou, Yang Shou, Chong Qing, Cheng Du, Kun Ming, DaLi, Li Jiang, BeiJing, Shang Hai, Yan Cheng and Xi'An. In addition, I had made day trips to Da Du kou, Ci Qi Kou (both in Chong Qing), Gui Lin and Wei Shang ( Wei Shang is about one hour over a mountain from DaLi.)

I also have visited the following cities in Japan; Nagoya, Osaka, Shin Osaka, Kyoto, Hida-Takayama, Naru, Hiroshima and Tokyo.

I might as well throw in a couple of trips to Canada too, which included the cities of Edmontin, Vancouver, Toronto, Niagra Falls, Niagra Falls on the Lake, Kingston and Gananaque.

Well, I just got back from another trip to China. This time I flew into BeiJing, Took a train to Zheng Zhou and from there either took a bus or train to the following cities or places; The Shao Lin Temple in the city of Deng Feng, The Long Men Grottos in the city of Luo Yang, The city of Kai Feng and the city of Gong Yi. I also spent quite a bit of time exploring Zheng Zhou.

Maybe someday I will catch up on posting all these pictures.

Well, I recently just got back from another China trip. This time for a month. Many cities I already visited before, so I will only mention the ones that I have not been to before. Those are DaZhou, BaZhong, EnYang, MianYang and AnYang. This year, 2009, I spent about six weeks in China.

April of 2010, add another week in China to the list. spent about five days in HanDan.

Another month in China, first week of July 2011 to first week of August 2011. This time to HuBei province. Cities I have not been to before include WuHan, JingZhou and YiChang.
