My name's Ren and I'm from Poole in Dorset, which is on the south coast of England.

I originally joined this site to post my holiday photos from Guatemala on here but soon developed an increasing interest in photography after looking at photos from Flickr member Thomas Reichart. Sadly, Thomas Reichart is no longer with us as he died in a tragic accident on Etna Volcano on November 30th or December 1st 2008. His photography skills (especially of volcanoes) had inspired me to take up photography.

I had been through 3 ordinary digital cameras but now I own a Canon EOS 1000D SLR camera.

My main interests are volcanoes, nature, photography, travelling, Football, Rugby, and Boxing. I especially love to travel afar to visit volcanoes and I am also a strong walker as I am able to hike for miles uphill and downhill.
