My name is Nick. My last job was for a marketing company, for which I was THE Sony Alpha Rep for the state of Michigan. At the time I had a ridiculous amount of gear that I had just started to really master before being laid off (Michigan, go figure).. An artist at heart,I have always had a passion to create and share. I have a degree in Graphic Design and own a small but growing business. Odd how you spend thousands of dollars on school and get a job that is another field. But, that is life.

As a photographer I generally like pictures of the outdoors, both living and non-living objects alike. I have 2 children and so they are often part of my photos, but people in general are not my favorite subjects. I love architecture (I recently won Down with Detroits best picture of Michigan/Detroit contest), my city, traveling, and odd things that most people dont notice or care to notice. I think our purpose as photographers is to share the amazing world around us and to show a different perspective when we can.
