Umbilical Cord is a heavy metal/video game music band from Medford, MA (just north of Boston) founded by brothers Wig and Gahmstead Fitzpatrick. Along with drummer Mikey Wright they are currently writing, practicing and searching for a permanent vocalist. Original works can be seen on YouTube on the channel Wiggimus. Covers include songs by Disturbed, System of a Down and video game themes. Influences and favorite bands/artists span the hard rock, alternative rock and metal spectrums and include but are not limited to Pantera, Metallica, Sublime, Aerosmith, Disturbed, System of a Down, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, and Tool.
