Non-commercial photographer from Melbourne, Australia

I don't add any subjects into my images, and only occasionally will I clone distracting small sections out.

I try to get the image as I want it in the camera as I do not enjoy spending more than 15 minutes post-processing an image. I prefer to represent reality and my memories of it whether it be realistic or abstracted.

The post-processing, if any, is generally restricted to tones, contrast, white balance, sometimes a little cropping and sharpening.

I rarely post-process the Olympus images but nearly all the Canon images need RAW processing.

Tools include:
Canon 1D Mark III
Canon gear: 135mm f/2.0 L, 24-105mm f/4 L IS, 17mm TSE, 45mm TSE, 90mm TSE, 85mm f/1.8, 1.4x teleconv, FlexTT5, 580EX II x 2, ST-E2, Canon and Sigma ring flashes. Rokinon 85mm f/1.4.
Four Thirds: Olympus ZD 7-14mm, ZD 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5, ZD 50mm f/2.0 macro, EC-20 2x teleconv.
FL50, FL36 and ring flashes.
Micro Four Thirds
Mamiya C330f, 55mm, 65mm, 80mm, 105mm, 145mm lenses
Bronica SQAi x 2, 40mm, 50mm, 80mm, 105mm, 110mm macro, 150mm
Metz 45CL-4 flashes
Olympus OM system including 21mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 100mm, 135mm, 200mm, 300mm Zuiko lenses.

Although I have many lenses, I usually only take 2-3 lenses with me at a time, and this forces me to look for imagery which suits the lens on the camera - usually a fixed focus lens unless I am travelling the world.

I have a very large photography information website and blog which you are free to browse and is largely advertisement free and I am not selling any products or photos - see here.

These images belong to me and I own the copyright.

You do NOT have permission to use these unless I give explicit consent in writing to you.

Finally, I have trawled Flickr looking for what I consider are among the best minimally manipulated photos and have added them to my galleries - enjoy.
