I am a metro Detroit photographer who has had the privilege of taking photographs from an early age of diverse parts of the world. Over the past 30 years I have been able to experience the challenges of shooting with manual 35mm film cameras, to working in darkrooms and now learning the tricks of using digital slrs. I am also one of those Olympus shooters and proud of it.

As I watched my dad shoot, I learned early on to appreciate the beauty of God's creation and try to capture it in its created beauty. Be it a new flower budding, a newly born fawn stumbling as it gains strength in its legs or simply the inherent beauty of us humans. If we look closely there is a God created purpose, order, and allure to them all. That is what I look for each time I capture an image on my camera - a small glimpse of God in His creation. As a Christian I may sometimes talk about my faith along with my pictures. Though I hope you don't avoid my work just for that reason.

I am trying to complete a 365 project this year. So you will find quite a variety of shots on my stream. Some good and some not so good as I challenge myself to shoot what I normally wouldn't. Its about a year of discovery and challenge.

Please comment as you'd like, but if you do please stay away from the single word "Great, Sucks, Cool, ect..." comments. While I appreciate them, I'd much more welcome both contructive praises and criticisms. Something with a reason why it sucks or is great and how I might improve on it. It helps us both grow as a photographers. Thank you for checking out my work.
