"I don't know George personally (I wish), but he is icon for me. I'm on Flickr for a year now and I've seen many beautiful pictures and great photographers. But George goes beyond that. His pictures are not just beautiful or show reality, they tell a story, show a different angle, are inspirational, amaze your spirit, makes you think, touches you..... Nobody else on Flickr can do that the way George can. Now he has a second stream focused on monochrome captures. Those captures go even deeper and show the story without colorful cover-ups. I'm glad I can call him a Flickr friend (he is nice in his comments, although I don't come close to what he can artistically) and encourages me. Thank you George and yes make the global Flickr meeting happen :)"
