  "Susan was one of my first true friends on flickr and even though she has avoided this place lately to fulfill her evil facebook priorities, our friendship always picks up where we left off last time.
  Susan’s love for her family shows all over her stream as she captures the most precious moments of her children. I absolutely love reading the glimpses of her life when she shares them with us, and she often causes me to tear up at her personal struggles in which she shows vulnerability but also a strength I completely admire.
  
  I love Susan’s sense of humor and I always feel extremely comfortable joking around with her and being silly, but I should add that Susan has been there for me through my roughest hours, mostly regarding the death of my father as well as the loss of our adopted child, and I have always appreciated her huge heart and support and experience and friendship. She and I will often converse about how much we miss our dads. We have both named our sons Johnathan after “Johns” we have lost in our lives. We both love the mountains, and we both have love affairs with Godiva chocolate.

  "Susan is the only person I know who takes a photography class at college not to learn how to photograph but to learn how to get the perfect shot IN the camera without the need for post processing in Photshop. Even since I have known her and been lucky enough to be called family she has been taking pictures. I remember the days of 2 megapixel cameras 8 megabyte memory cards and she still made the great shots.
  Susan proves that photography is not so much in the equipment as it is in the passion for the art.
  But I happen to know that she really really likes her Nikon D40 ;-)
  Keep thinking outside the box.
  And don't blame me for your Flickr addition, just remember to share it!
