  "It's very lucky for me to know Lord Ivan. I've learned a lot in a very short time about photography just from the pictures in his gallery. His pictures are very artisitic, movie-like, very poetic, spontaneous photojournalism-style enhanced by highly-crafted photo skills, very fast yet very slow, strong yet soft, yin and yang at the same time. I can sense the energy he is putting in his photographs, which he is really taking the time to strive for perfection and only satisfied with putting out the best of his without falling to the trap of mass production of mediocre pictures (like I have seen many did that on Flickr). I could feel his enthusiasm, passion, and philosophy about photography and his love of observing and portraying life in his many photographs. The one thing that impresses me the most is that I could always read a story just by looking at his very still images and I am really inspired by those... it is a very amazing feeling! He's really well deserved the praises (as I don't have the habit of singing such praises for the ones I think undeserved) and I wish him continuing success and achieving the best with everything he's pursuing."
