Howard Robard Hughes Jr.-American Billionaire born on 24 December, 1905 in Houston Texas to Allene Gano and Howard R.Hughes jr.,inventor of the oil drill bit tool. Orphaned at age 18, he went on to run a vast financial empire that included Hughes Tool Company (founded by his father and the foundation of his wealth), Hughes Aircraft, RKO Film Production ,Transworld Airlines and several Hotels and Casinos in Las Vegas in the mid 60s.He died on 05 April, 1976 on board an airplane from Mexico en route to Houston Texas.His most enduring legacy is the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
