I'm a wildlife biologist in Santa Barbara County. I have a soft spot for the creepy crawly critters and enjoy photographing them (especially those of the scaley persuasion & lately, grasshoppers). I try to have accurate identifications on all the subjects posted, but appreciate correction if I have something wrong. And, I'd like to give a big thanks to all the folks on www.bugguide.net for help on the invertebrate identifications!

All my photos are organized by collection, with sets contained within. I'm behind on adding tags and labels, so if you're looking for something specific, browsing the appropriate collection will likely yield the most success ;o)
