Ok, now that the boring (but necessary) obligatory copyright info. is out of the way, thanks for stopping by! I'm a freelance nature photographer-slash- field editor that simply enjoys sharing the beauty and magic found in the natural world. I've been a birdwatcher since childhood and they're my most favorite subjects to photograph. I also enjoy creating textured art with many of my photos, and share tips/techniques on my photography blog. During the late summer, I spend many hours photographing and documenting moth species, which is a very time consuming hobby. So many wingeds, so little time!

I own more than one camera, and use more than one lens, but equipment lists aren't my thing.. what you DO with it is. I'm inspired and charmed by beauty in all of it's many forms.. originality.. creativity.. those attributes cannot be purchased at your local camera store.

(please note: I have a chronic illness that limits my time on flickr. At times I find it a bit overwhelming trying to keep up with the contacts that I have, let alone all the wonderful photographers that comment on my stream.
