    Charlie the Cheeky Monkey says:

"Ray's photos are terrific. So terrific your face will fall off when you look at them. Go ahead, look through his photos. Call me when your face falls off. I'm a face surgeon. I reattach faces. It's what I do. Sure, it pays well, but I do it because I like helping people. People whose faces have fallen off after looking at some of the best photography on Flickr.

So don't worry about your face falling off. I'll be here to reattach it. Because that's what I do. Ray just takes terrific photos. I put your face back on. I think it makes us different but equal."

"I don't remember how I came across Ray's photo stream. I think it was serendipity. Either that or I was curious whether his teeth were actually blue. Regardless, I'm glad I did, because it was one of my best discoveries on Flickr.

I've been meaning to write this testimonial for a while. In fact, I even put it on my to-do list. Two months ago... Ray didn't even have any other testimonials at the time and I was glad I would write the first one. You see, I like being FIRST! Unfortunately, other individuals, who shall remain nameless, but whose names rhyme with Ghana, beat me to the punch. Better late than never though.

On to the testimonial. Pretty much anything Ray puts up is guaranteed to be a hit. I used to wonder how he receives so much positive feedback from the Flickr community, so one day I decided to sit down and browse through his stream and absorb it as a whole. Ray's photographs are truly inspiring - from beautiful oceanscapes, to impressive skies, to dark and moody monochrome images, to the occasional zombie, to stuff so out there that most people would think he's gone mad. And that was just one week's worth. Anyway, my point is that his shots have a unique quality, a je ne sais quoi that's uniquely blueteeth. Each one carefully thought out, perfectly composed, impeccably timed and aptly titled.

I don't want to repeat what's already been said (thanks individual who shall remain nameless), but I do have to mention that Ray's comments are some of the most entertaining in the business (and by business I mean Flickr of course). I always look forward to what he has to say.

In conclusion, I'd like to say that it really is a pleasure to visit Ray's photo stream and to comment on it. I've been at it for a year and hope to continue doing so."

"Ray has his own universe and see things that many pro don't even notice.
I follow Ray since a while on flickr and he is one of the best in square format I know here.

Ice cream on the cake his comments are always so smart and full of delicate & wise sense of humour.
A very inspiring person and high talented photographer."

    Bwana aka Captain Caipirinha says:

"With Ray in a schlump maybe it's time to write something nice about him. Something that will pull him out of it. Something that doesn't concentrate on his lousy cooking, his poor choice in restaurants, crappy old car, graying hair, ever increasing wrinkles or his ugly dog that's way too short and wide...

We won't have any of that here. This is a photo site after all. And photo's is what Ray does best.

I for one miss his vision on the days he's not around. The way he can turn the simplest things into a monochrome work of art that challenges you to find more in the photograph with every new look. His consistent square formatted view of a world that is simple, straight forward yet mysterious at the same time. His generous sharing of special quiet times that are normally shared only with special friends.

And I miss his witty comments too.

Not that his temporary departure makes me all soft, wet and noodly though, just so we're square on that. He's not a girl mind you."

"blueteeth manages to catch the ordinary in such a way that it looks mysterious, interesting, original - he turns everyday life into great art that one can spend hour after hour pondering over, diving into the moment, becoming part of the scene, immerging into the picture, exploring details, athmospheres, personalities.
a skilled master with his camera, he is also a great master of words - his titles are as just as special and original as his pictures.

he is an amazing person that i'm very happy to call a contact so i don't miss a single piece of his work."
