Flickr to me has been like a drug. Working full time stops me taking photographs as much as would like.
If like me, you like taking photographs you download most days and love to see what reactions and ideas you get from everyone. I do appreciate that people have to time to look at my photographs and offer help and support.
I have only really started taking photographs seriously around a year ago. This last year as been so additive. I am still learning and really grateful for people’s comments, help and advice.

It as been one of the things that has kept me going since moving over to Shropshire.
I did find a photography class that does evening courses. I really enjoy it.
I love to view other contacts to get ideas and help with my own photography. You get to see places I would never get the chance to go and see all over the world. I have now found some wonderful places to visit local to where I live and enjoy looking at what I see. We always see things differently. The weather and day light; everything is different.
I have made a lot of friends through Flickr and so glad I have got into photography. Thank you everyone.

From Ironmonger in my contacts
When a sky is below my eyes as well as above
i know I am in a heaven and a place I so love
the world abounds before me and far horizons see
why would I thus elsewhere then long now to be
past millions of years shaped this vista in the sky
observed now but for a moment and take it all in do I try
though the image has such beauty some impact is not seen
as the dimensions of this world in a photo may fail to then glean
the panorama is somewhat softened by far haze
by the shimmer of thermals from the suns beating rays
natures art Is so boundless in all direction I now view
in this world of such a vastness find it overwhelming to you.

It was so nice had to share
