My Schtick:
I like to take pictures.

Something about being behind the lens is just therapeutic. Taking photos helps me connect with the moment and fosters a little bit of contentment and happiness. Ever so occasionally the resulting images bring similar feelings. That's why I shoot. I sincerely hope you find something here in my work that you enjoy.

My Photos:
I've got a set that I occasionally update with some of my own favorite images or you can see what flickr's magical algorithm decided was interesting. More often than not, my kids find their way in front of my lens and into my photostream but I try and maintain a set of shots that is kid free for anyone who might want to see some of my photos but isn't quite as enamored with my offspring as I am.

As a 'Business':
Nowadays everyone and the DLSR they got for their birthday want to be a professional photographer. So what makes me different? My camera wasn't a birthday present.

I've done some event work. Some portraits. And sometimes try and peddle my "fine art" stuff at the local coffee shop. I file a Schedule C. So I call my self a semi-professional with major emphasis on the "semi" part. And I'm keeping my day job.

More About Me:
I'm a Denver native now living in the Highlands/Berkeley neighborhood with my lovely wife, two boys and dog. I've got a day job building software that supports, among other things, my family and my photography habit. Life could be a lot worse.
