I'm starting to talk about photography, placing me in the limited pool of millions of photographers who both photograph and blog about photography.

Why is my stream called Randy's Dalies? It's sort of a reflextion of daily pracitce: a mix of portrait, commercial and personal work -- and even some personal diary stuff that I know isn't necessarily top notch. The name is a reminder to try to shoot or edit something every day. It's doesn't always make to flickr, but the flickr stream is an added encintive to make something happen. If I too busy shooting stuff that I can't show (as I have lately while writing this paragraph), it reminds me to shoot some personal stuff to keep the stream of work going. If I'm not shooting much at all (say in late January), hopefully it reminds me to get out of the house.

I've had a varitey of publication inquiries about my flickr stuff, so if you are interested you can flickr mail me or contact me via my Web site, and I'll get back to you quickly. I'm a professional photographer and generally expect to be paid for my work. Though, my rates are quite reaonable and fit into most publication models.
