Hello! My name is Rebekah Payne. I am a self taught artist working mainly in polymer clay, creating unique jewelry, gifts, and decor. Nearly everything inspires me - favorite colors, favorite art, favorite books, and of course, the beauty of nature. I love working with polymer clay, letting my imagination fly freely, as my two hands try desperately to keep up.

I guess I could say it all began Christmas of 2005 when after a few years of sculpting little owl figures (I've always wanted an owl!), I wanted a dragon necklace to give to my sister. Since that day my dreams as a jewelry designer have really blossomed (my dragons too have grown a great deal). Shortly after the emergence of my dragons, I branched out into sculpting flowers and shaping millefiori and faux effect beads.

In 2008 and 2009 I began precision canework and also started creating decor items: vases, candle holders, and my most favorite, sculpted clay pictures. My clay pictures are very unique. They stem from a desire to create larger pieces with more detail than practical jewelry allows.

At Tree Wings Studio you'll find a great diversity of pieces, as different as the leaves of a single tree, but every piece has one thing in common - the love and care with which it is formed.
