A 26 year old Icelander, always looking out for my next adventure!

I was interested in photography from an early age - when I was 7 I used to steal my mother's camera and sneak out and take pictures. I got my first camera for my confirmation when I was 14, given to me by my grandparents. I used that point-and-shoot camera for quite many years, or until I bought my first manual SLR camera - Olympus OM-10 when i was 20, and took a course in SLR photography and film developing. That camera took amazing photos! But soon after, I felt the need to go digital and changed to Canon EOS 300D, where I some gear, like a telescope lens, 75-300mm Tamron zoom lens and several memory cards and filters. Sold that camera in 2008 to get a smaller, more compact camera which also takes great photos and has in many ways similar effects as an SLR - Sony Cybershot DSC-H2.
