hat we have here... yessir... is just me, doing what I love doing.

I shoot these days with a few Vivitar 250/SL 35mm SLRs (loaded with Kodachrome and b/w), 2 Polaroid Model 100 Automatic Land Cameras (1 b/w, 1 color), a Brownie Hawkeye Flash, a ca. 1947 Univeral Uniflex II TLR, a Polaroid Model 420 Automatic Land camera, a Polaroid SX70 Sonar One-Step, a Polaroid SX-70, all of which are rigged to work with flashbulbs.

I also shoot a Holga with modified aperture and rigged to fit a Heiland Strobonar 700 electronic flash.

"The honky tonks of Texas are my natural second home" -- I spend ALOT of time in the dive bars and honkytonks here in Austin, away from the thousands of shitty rock bands that come to Austin to play downtown and get lost in the mix. The experience is unique, and one I sometimes take for granted, which is why I document it here. Some of the truly most talented musicians pass through my haunts, and the most unique and interesting people, too.

My other passion, as you might be able to tell, is exploration. Tourist traps, vacation spots, ghost towns and abandoned places get my blood flowing, and I have a streak in me to re-create all those classic snapshots your parents have in shoeboxes in the attic.
