In 2007, reports emerged that women living with HIV seeking medical care were allegedly subjected to sterilisation without their knowledge or informed consent in state hospitals.
Since that time, several events have taken place including a court case, protests, hospital sit-ins and petition to the Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services. This gallery documents these activities.
