Back in Japan after nearly two decades in the States! Spent a few years in Tokyo in the late 80's but that's not where I am! ... yet!

Things to do
check out Japanese language schools
go for the JLPT 3
land a job
live in my very own apartment

Gosh, life in Japan now is such a hassle. I have to do this and that before I can go on interviews and rent an apartment. Oh, for the good ole days. Blissfully unaware...In retrospect, I should have never left either Tokyo or Denver. I don't want to live in a gaijin house but I really do not have the luxury of paying shikikin and reikin plus utilities. Ho hum... Denver was great in that I lived in an apartment (I've lived in a cookie cutter house up in Northglenn and I've bunked at the Y!) in a okay location. A couple of blocks away was the Mayan. My favorite Landmark theater. I liked Starz too, though. When I was in Tokyo, I lived in quite a few gaijin houses. I think Tokyo House in Ogikubo was pretty good location wise. I mean the train station and line (Marunouchi-sen). I liked Family Mansion in Chiba. It was on the Tozai-sen. It was a pretty good hike from the station.
