Hi everyone.

My name is John, but better known as "flick", a nickname that as lived with me for the last 50+ years. Born and lived in Nottingham all my life except for a 3 year spell when i lived in South Africa, where my daughter Louisa, was born. She is since married and now lives in London. My son, Lee, still single, but not for much longer i think, lives nearby.

Looking forward to retirement when i'm 65 (July 2011), which can't come quick enough so that i can spend a lot more time pursuing my new hobby, photography, which i really enjoy.
