I am proudly South African and work for a leading literacy NGO in Johannesburg .

My avatar is my English Bulldog, Mr Baggins Gandalf of Noble Look, who sadly passed away on 7 July 2010. RIP Baggy, you'll always be missed.

Photography is relatively new interest of and I learn as I stumble on. Use a Canon 550D, Tamron 15-50/2.8, Canon EF 50 f/1.8 II; EF85 f/1.8 & Sigma 10-20mm lenses. Edit in Photoshop Elements 9. Also use Mamiya 645 1000S medium format, a Beautyflex Medium Format, Pentax 1000S & Diana Mini Lomo & 1959 Ilford Sporti to shoot analogue from time to time.....and now there the IPhone Hipstamatic App. Too many to choose from.

I also have great admiration for the visionaries, maniacs and wide-eyed dreamers of this world for whom the impossible becomes possible, and maintain a Live Journal titled "Dreams, Schemes & Themes: mrbaggins1.livejournal.com/
