Luminous Landscape's photostream  

My love and appreciation of the landscape is very much reflected in my work. I like to manifest my personal vision and distinctive interpretation in a symphony of textures, patterns and light, in order to convey the emotional reaction more directly.

The camera and method of recording are an irrelevance. Cameras and emulsions are like a selection of brushes and paints. I use a variety of ‘brushes’ ranging from pinholes & zone plates, plastic cameras, through small, to ultra-large format. Some of my much-loved cameras are made of wood and have over a century’s worth of stories to tell... My favourite 'paints' are: number 400S Rollei Retro, anything containing Silver Nitrate – in its many forms - and photogravure.
