Photography is my passion, chasing the light, the sun the moon, the sea and lakes and landscapes, nature the great outdoors.

I came to photography from an art (especially watercolours) plus a literary /maths background,... and so wish I had earlier!

I love the sea, could live by it forever,- so water effects and seascapes fascinate me. Also moonscapes, landscapes, the outdoors, macros,..... the place where authenticity and author meet. The place where maths and free art sing to each other. Oh and horses, lots of horses, and blue lots of blue. I like to experiment, break rules in the art.

My compact Panasonic now failing has been my bearer for my first year and more, a best friend never out of hand. I'm mourning its passing! Then gifted a D40 body and loaned some lens and now also a D70, the adventure is on again. The glass is always half full not half empty.

Flickr has brought me some amazing friends, amazing and most generous gurus, a place to learn and to share and hopefully give back something to others. Pleased that this year has seen three of my shots go into three different exhibitions, from little acorns.....
