I'm married with two kids and I just got a new dSLR that I'll be playing with! I chose the Sony alpha a330.
I'm finding that I really like taking close ups of things I find interesting, like spider webs and bugs and flowers. I'm trying my hand at low light and night photography, and the Sony is supposed to be really good at that.
I really enjoy the post processing part of digital photography too, and can end up spending hours in front of my editing software. (sorry family)
